The Brotherhood of the Sacred Circle is a self-supporting collective of recovering men who honor the ancient ways of Earth and Spirit The Sacred Circle was founded in 1987 by JoAnna Silverwitch to bring recovering pagans together to Pass the Rattle, share experience, strength and hope, honor our unique mysteries and rites of passage, and celebrate the cycles of Nature in various circles and celebrations throughout the year. Our vision is to provide a safe sanctuary for recovering pagans who honor the Old Ways and we welcome all who wish to join us on our recovering & reclaiming journey. We gather in the spirit of love & trust to share our recovery, discovery & empowerment. Our purpose is to provide unity & support to all pagans who are reclaiming the power of Nature & Spirit to heal from the insidious ways of a dysfunctional world. We come together to share our personal stories, identify common problems and solutions, and pass along the many benefits gained by honoring a Earth-centered Spirituality. We acknowledge there are many avenues of healing & many paths to self discovery. We choose an ancient path that celebrates Mother Nature because it restores balance and mirrors our many mysteries as children of the Earth. In The Sacred Circle... We also recognize the many compulsive disorders brought about by living in an unbalanced culture. Our personal stories reveal Internalized Oppression; Codependency, Family Dysfunction, various abuses, compulsions, allergies, imbalances and addictions related to alcohol, sex, drugs, food or other substances; but our common desire is to reclaim our power & sacredness as we strive to live in harmony with nature, ourselves and others.
